As part of providing a psychological service including assessments and psychological services, we will collect and record personal information about you. This is vital for the psychological assessment and treatment provided. We do not share this information with anyone, unless you ask us to, or we are required by legislation to do so. We do not use this information for any purpose, other than to provide psychological support to you.

All information is collected and stored securely, in accordance with the National Privacy Principles. In all cases, files are retained for a minimum of seven years, or longer for those under 18 at the time of treatment. Access to this information is granted upon request, with some exceptions based on the National Privacy Principles and the Privacy Act 1988.

All collected information remains confidential and secure, with the reasonable exceptions such as a legal requirement to share, an assessment of a risk of harm to yourself or others, or when you have given consent to share. You will be provided with a consent form at your initial session..
